After days--no, WEEKS--of being out of the blog game (and for that I sincerely apologize, between finals and traveling this summer I may be what most people consider a mess), I'm making what I consider a valiant effort to become more committed. To do this I'll need some serious motivation and great internet connection, after all, I'm heading to London in 2 weeks to study abroad. FINALLY.
This means I cannot slack when it comes to my nutrition and healthy lifestyle; I don't want to ruin all of my diligent progress as I hop over the pond and into the land of fish & chips, pubs, and weekend trips to Italy for pizza (or France for wine and cheese). I'm establishing a good foundation in my last few weeks as an American, no "tourist" label for me, so that I won't come home looking as if I've eaten most of the European continent and then nibbled my way into bordering countries...

I introduce you to my true love: Almond Butter |
I've started each day with two of my favorite things: fruit and Justin's Almond Butter. Both of these are absolutely, and without a doubt, an addiction waiting to happen. For those of you who havent tried a slice of crisp apple or sweet banana with Justin's, do yourself a favor and purchase it now. I'm still doing Insanity alternating with running (because I finished the actual 60 days, I have biceps now!), and the Almond Butter paired with a bowl of freshly chopped fruit helps my morning begin with a kickstart.

Oranges, pear, apple, nectarine, bananas...Basically any fruit I could find went into this bowl |
