NYC Summer!!

After my hiatus from posting, I've finally been encouraged by my gorgeous sister to participate in the world of bloggery again. It didn't take too much convincing (because I have so much delicious food to post about!) but my internet connection has been a little screwy and has made getting on the computer a little difficult. Therefore, while I have been documenting MANY of my meals, I haven't been able to post about them.

I apologize in advance that there are a lot of pictures in this post (maybe have a snack before you continue reading?) but NYC has the most delicious food! So glad I have the entire summer to explore this gorgeous city while eating my way through it as well. Most of my meals are deliciously healthy, but I must admit that I do indulge in this city's fabulous calorie-laden edibles every so often.

The first meal!!! Went to the B-Bar Grill and had a delicious piece of salmon with balsamic vinegar and a perfectly green, crunchy salad.

Second night of dinner! Went out with cousin's to the Five Napkin Burger and had a veggie burger (Made with beets, lentils, carrots, etc.) on top of a small chopped salad.

Went out for burgers again with friends, but I've been trying to stay away from red meat, so I got another veggie burger! Omnomnom sweet potato fries are TOO delicious.

Cleansed my system from all the burgers with this healthy breakfast! I got a fresh-pressed juice from a high-end juice store called 'Liquiteria'. It had apple, lemon, ginger, etc. It's called 'The Killer'. It was sweet AND spicy! So delicious.

Just in case you wanted to see what was in 'The Killer'...

For lunch at work, I have the option to create amazing salads from the salad bar, and so I definitely indulge in all the veggies and salad options! Yes I know I went a little crazy...

This was my afternoon snack the next day! Went back to liquiteria and got myself a veggie juice, it's such a huge thing here that I wanted to try it out. I LOVED the kale aspect of it and the juice was truly incredible. Definitely will be having this again.

Red Velvet Cake flavor tea from David's Tea! Indulgent, but NO calories! (Except for the skim milk I put in)

Just a few desserts I shared with friends from Momofuku's Milk Bar...

Brunch from "Westville" with my best friend! I LOVE BRUNCH!!!

Can't wait to have even more delicious NYC meals! Make sure to keep checking them out :)
