Spring Break Countdown

I promised myself I was done with silly diet fads and watermelon cleanses pre-bikini trips, and I am sticking to that promise. This morning I finished day 15 of Insanity (still proving to be just as insane as day 1), and I've been trying to eat as "right" as possible--Amanda and I leave for Florida on Friday!

I started my morning off right with a bowl of Kashi Go-Lean and Almond Milk paired with a fruit bowl, just because I was craving a bit of extra sweetness. I wasn't hungry until around 2:30 pm, when I had to throw out the most god-awful protein bar I've ever tasted in my entire life. It tasted like the cross between old strawberries and a chemical lab; something most unpleasant.



So delicious, looking at this now I'm actually craving another one. Dinner anyone?

I came back to my apartment around 4:45, where I indulged in several pieces of brown rice sushi, and a small handful of almonds. I don't have that "too full" feeling, which I usually get after coming home after a busy day out. A delicious start to the day :)
